Sample Quality Tips
- Use WAV when possible — Best quality for drums and short sounds
- 44.1kHz or 48kHz — Standard sample rates work best
- 16-bit or 24-bit — Both are fine, 24-bit for best quality
- Keep originals — FlowState doesn't modify your source files
Organizing After Import
After importing, organize your samples:
- Create collections — Group related samples together
- Add to favorites — Mark samples you use often
- Use AI search — Find them later by description
Troubleshooting
Sample Won't Import
- Check if the format is supported
- Make sure the file isn't corrupted
- Try converting to WAV first
Sample Sounds Wrong
- Check the sample rate—very high or low rates may cause issues
- Make sure it's a standard audio format (not MIDI)
- Try re-exporting from your audio editor
Import Is Slow
- Large files take longer to process
- Importing many files at once needs time
- Wait for the progress indicator to complete
