Using Vocal Presets

Select your vocal track
Click on the track with your recorded vocals. -
Open the Vocal Chain
Click the microphone icon or right-click → "Vocal Chain". -
Browse presets
See the list of available vocal presets. -
Click to apply
Instantly applies the preset to your vocals.
Available Presets
Clean Vocal
Natural, transparent processing:
- Light EQ for clarity
- Gentle compression for evenness
- Subtle reverb for space
- Good starting point for any genre
Radio Ready
Polished, broadcast-quality sound:
- More aggressive EQ (presence boost)
- Tighter compression
- De-essing to control sibilance
- Ready for release
Lo-Fi Vocal
Vintage, warm character:
- High and low frequency rolloff
- Subtle saturation
- Vinyl-style coloring
- Perfect for lo-fi hip hop
Trap Vocal
Modern trap/hip-hop sound:
- Crisp highs
- Punchy compression
- Short slap delay
- Auto-tune flavor (optional)
Dreamy Vocal
Ethereal, spacious sound:
- Heavy reverb
- Chorus effect
- Soft high end
- Great for atmospheric tracks
Telephone
Lo-fi phone effect:
- Bandpass filter (mid-only)
- Adds character and grit
- Classic effect for intros or transitions
Megaphone
Aggressive, distorted sound:
- Heavy distortion
- Narrow frequency band
- Good for hype vocals or ad-libs
Tip: Start with the "Clean Vocal" preset and adjust from there. It's easier to add effects than to undo heavy processing.
Customizing Presets
After applying a preset, you can tweak the individual effects:
- Apply the preset as a starting point
- Open the Vocal Chain panel
- Adjust individual effect parameters
- Save as a custom preset if you like the result

Name your preset
Give it a descriptive name. -
Use it anytime
Your custom preset appears in the preset list.
